Cricket-IPL

The recent IPL - fiasco has paled all other news items like the failed space mission, the PM's US visit and thankfully the SANIA Saga.
The source of funds of the IPL team owners have never been probed. If the common man were to make certain purchases through the credit card in excess of prescribed limits the Income Tax Dept would promptly despatch a notice asking for source of funds etc.
But the law is only for the common man it appears. The rich and powerful get away easily.
The revenue stream of the IPL teams is not known. Whether the IPL is a front for Havala transactions needs to be looked into. With Mafia and political power coming in ; it certainly will no longer be cricket any more....
